ESPN POLE: Will Washington ever be a contender for the national championship under Chris Petersen?

Washington as a red state. There's something you don't see everyday.
-
I bet that's higher than the national expectations for Sark at USC.
UW > USC.

does gray stand for "FYFMFE"? btw I haven't seen Sark's natty pole on ESPN yet
-
The fact that they even bothered to ask the question is a step in the right direction.

Gray is 50-50

East coast bias?

Texas as a blue state?dnc said:

Hmmm... NE football fans are fucktarded.

Not that far from a 50-50 vote. I guess that means the national expectations are that UW definitely contends routinely for Pac12 championships. If Petersen is here for 10 years I expect to be in the p12 north champ game 4-5 times.TMacDawg said:The fact that they even bothered to ask the question is a step in the right direction.

They are the epicenter for ESPN who has a strange love affair with Sark. It doesn't surprise me in the slightest.PurpleBaze said:Hmmm... NE football fans are fucktarded.

Well, Herbie has been kissing Sark's ass for too long, calling him the best play-caller in college football. Plus, the people on the East Coast only know about USC and Oregon being out this way.CuntWaffle said:

every Patriot's fan I know is insufferable.

As long as California is a blue state, I'm happy.
Recruiting advantage: Washington. -
Four+ p12 champ games in 10 years is the upper limit of realistic. I'm not willing to put that level of expectation on him. Oregon and Stanford aren't going away; I think a 3 way split with those schools plus one anomaly, say leach pulls off a dream year, and that's about what I expect.HeretoBeatmyChest said:

We will play in and win a P12 title under Peterson. Against Sark. Book it. -
I can 100% vouch for this. I'm surround by mostly Pats fans with Jets and Giants sprinkled in. They also know nothing about College Football.PurpleBaze said:Hmmm... NE football fans are fucktarded.
Total fucktards. -
Clearly you don't follow demographic projections. Hispanics reproduce man. Viva el Texico!PurpleJ said:
If it weren't for the gerrymandering Texas would be a lot bluer already. -
AS an old fuck to see America think our chances are better than USC's is amazing.
Doog it -
No fucking way Sark gets to a conference championship game. No way, no how, not now, not ever.DingaLing said:

Sark won't beat Mora or Graham once in his tenure at USC. Fucking cook it.TheKobeStopper said:

That's a pro sports area. They don't give a fuck about college football. They see USC and probably still think USC is a top 5 team.PurpleBaze said:Hmmm... NE football fans are fucktarded.

Aside from Sark's connections to U $ C,1, Sark most certainly took the job because ths south is pathetic. Sark could lay out his same bullshit hand in the south and beat Stanford for a rose bowl berth.
ASU is a very average team. Now they just have to pull a rabbit leg out their collective cunts and they're playing Sparty in the rose bowl.
USC, under Sark, could win the south with 70 players because of the rotten carcasses they have to beat -
Do you know what state that program was in when he got there, Kiffin as coach, sill down scholarships. You can't expect him to win championchips this decade.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Obvious least coast bias.

This is fucking amazing. Basically every state in our conference thinks UW will be better than USC in the next five years.
I have a feeling we are going to have to start hating Mora soon as UW-UCLA could be playing in a lot of championship games. -
Yep...the worst thing about not getting Mora is that a competitor retains potentially the best coach in the conference.He_Needs_More_Time said:This is fucking amazing. Basically every state in our conference thinks UW will be better than USC in the next five years.

Good news is USC who is the biggest threat in the conference basically announced they were a football school.HeretoBeatmyChest said:

I think UW/Stanford/Oregon control the North while USC/UCLA/ASU controls the South.
With UW eventually passing them up and UCLA owning the South. -

The South will definitely be a lot tougher.He_Needs_More_Time said:

USC with Sark is still going to recruit extremely well and average 9-10 wins. UCLA is going to win the South the next two years and is a top 10 program with Mora. The state of Arizona has a lot of talent and I think Graham and RichRod are going to keep that in state (something that hasn't been done in Arizona).
Meanwhile, we are now trending up in the north with the clear best coach in the division while Oregon and Stanford have likely peaked. Not saying we will dominate, just saying we have a path to be potentially the best team in the north over the next 5 years. It will be very competitive though. -
Whereas prior to Sark choosing to LEAVE! I couldn't picture UW ever playing for a Pac-12 title or competing for BCS games. After that WSU game I was like "We are fucked!" here comes the extension to prove we are going to be stuck in mediocrity forever.HeretoBeatmyChest said:

Scott Woodward goes from Todd TurnerFS to Mike Lude Genius in a span of 12 hours. With a major assist to Pat HadenFS for becoming the new Pool Boy among the conference AD's.
