    In terms of regulations on businesses. Yes yes they are. There might be rules in place but they sure aren't followed.

    They own some corporations, like the oil and gas one that's the biggest company in the world. But by and large, companies that want to do business in China, like Apple, are free to do what they want, employ who they want with little to no regulations on hours and wages, and can pollute how they want. That is until free market Trump put tariffs in.
