    A Trump Administration official denied that he had threatened to resign which was the entire point of the article. Since the unnamed source obviously lied to the reporter they have no obligation to protect that source. Something tells me they won't be releasing that name.

    Nothing is "obvious" about the situation. It could be a mistake, or someone could be lying.

    Too many of these anonymous sourced stories by the Wapo that later turn out to be complete bullshit. Like with hate crime allegations. The burden of proof is now on the accuser.
