You pick up that job for the excessive perks ... but when the company implodes you go to the stable company that has the present and future laid out.
Get paid short term and then go long.
We've talked about that thinking numerous times on here. The overiding opinion is that prime athletes aren't considering the long term. I have been lectured on that too many times to remember.

Yeah I know, I'm just saying that coffee cups happen then when the football sucks options open up.
I'm hearing this guy is tanned, rested, and ready.
And I'm guessing it's a lot easier to get to the Keys from Knoxville than from Pullman.
Makes all the sense in the world. Leach has already shown what he can do with lesser talent. And he would have the 6th or 7th best talent in the SEC. Might even be able to recruit some passable athletes on defense down there.
Hellen Keller could have done a better search than UT did in hiring Pruitt.
I thought Pruitt might be decent. Kirby Smart was pretty good. In Pruitt’s defense, that program was a fucking mess when he took over. He was like their 15th choice.

I’m at Waffle House in Knoxville right now. CP and Uncle Phil can’t be more than 10 feet away
