For whatever reason the 84 team responded to MIllen, not his back up who lost to USC and was losing the Orange Bowl before Millen came of the bench. They won with defense, special teams, running the ball, and then the pass in that order.

Say what you want the 84 team was undefeated in games that Millen started

And it was painful to watch most of the time
