I blame this on Pete. He probably ran that stupid shovel pass to the te run option play in practice so much that it is muscle memory for tryon to go for the TE on these.

I haven't brought myself to watch the replay, but I feel like that was the only downfield shot we took. Then the pick scared us and we stopped trying to test them.
