DAWGS LOOK CRISP IN OPENER
Skinny Haener looked like a 4th year starter at quarterback as the new look Huskies took the field against Eastern Washington in the lid lifter at Cheney Stadium. Haener showed touch and arm strength as he led the DAWGS to a routine 47-14 win in a non conference scrimmage that no one should be excited about.
The Huskies opened the scoring with a perfect long pass that hit the receiver in stride for an easy touchdown. But don't get excited.
I said, don't get excited.
Next up for the local eleven is the Cal Bears at Berkeley Field at Joe Kapp Stadium.
The culture at Cal is awesome and far superior to anything you will find at UW. Cal is going to win because they always win.

WOULD BE 5TH RANKED DUCKS WIN THE FIRST 48 MINUTES OF THE GAME
Boom! And just like that the 2019 season came to an end for the Oregon Ducks and former head coach Marcus Cristobal.
Former Heisman favorite showed why he is a former favorite as he led the Ducks to a come from ahead loss to the over rated Tigers of the SEC SEC SEC.
Auburn was led by the son of Bo Jackson, Bo Nix who was making his first start but it didn't matter as he coolly led the Auburn squad down the field for the game winner. The exhausted Duck players wilted despite the SEC mentality they now have.
Nothing left now for the Ducks but the long slog to a 7-5 season.
BIG GAME SATURDAY
Texas A&M plays Clemson in the one game season for the Tigers
Nebraska and Colorado play for the Big 8 championship. @RuffaloSoldier
USC and Stanford play for the Pac 12 South title
Other games will be played as well. Missing from any news reports are our Cuogs. Some will be missed, others not so much.
