Either didn't read the article you posted or didn't understand it. The article actually refutes your belief that spending by the rich doesn't trickle down to the rest of the economy.
Why should I care how the wealthy spend their money? It's their money
Because liberals don't believe that it's their money. They think that it's the government's money and that the rich have stolen or taken the money away from middle class and the poor.
If you are wealthy from a salary (like a California movie star like Brad Pitt, an athlete like LeBron and not from owning corporate stock, then you didn’t receive diddly squat from Trump’s tax reform. Top individuals got a 2.6% tax break. If you live in Cali or NY then the loss of your state tax deduction largely offset the “cut”. If you owned a business in an S corp or an LLC, you got a significant tax break. So, Hondo thinks that the wealthy owner is keeping his “tax break” in cash under his pillow and not spending or investing it? That is how stupid he is. Of course he is investing it. Someone has the DOW at 26,000. You know who has piles of money in the stock market? People with IRAs and 401(k)s. And corporations and governments and unions who have their money in the stock market. Hondo thinks that this is zero sum game that doesn’t help the middle class. The US had the highest corporate tax rate – 35% on C corporations and 39.6% on small businesses owned by S corporations and LLCs. This was the highest in the first world by a lot. Hondo and his fellow leftards don’t seem to understand that corporate taxes are a cost of doing business and that Caterpillar competes with Kamatsu for business both in and outside the US. Hondo loves to root for the away team. If your cost of doing business goes down versus the away team, then perhaps you are better able to compete with your competition by say lowering prices. Which has happened. It also leads to more retained capital which is then stuffed under the pillow? Uh, no. It’s invested or returned to shareholders – like CalPERS. When Hondo says that tax savings are not spent or invested, you can pretty much figure out that he was never an MBA candidate. But he does have very strong feelings, which to a leftard is all important.

But you're a dumbfuck so...
Rich people stole their wealth. Bill Gates did create billions in wealth, he stole it from poor people.
Damn you're dense
It's amazing how many of you chanted the conservative line that the wealthy will invest the money from the tax cut. And still repeat those lies.
Corporations are spending like drunk sailors and they are throwing cash at guys like me to get it done
Go flip another burger loser.
