First year head coach learning some valuable lessons. And if you look at the staff, a lot of guys don't have experience recruiting agains the big boys so how would they know what to do.UDubHusky23 said:

We have fallen behind. Wynden likes Malloe. Bob, not so much. This is classic WDWHA. Don't blame Scott on this. It's what the coaches are feeding him. Wynden is not coming here unless we can get him on campus and let our Polys help close him.bananasnblondes said:Eklund today:
Mililani (Hi.) LB Wynden Ho'ohuli - The top prospect in Hawaii, Ho'ohuli moved up from 179 to 177. He remains a prospect the Huskies are recruiting, but the linebacker board has taken on a new shape, so we'll have to see if there's a spot for him.
Claiming he may have waited to long and the coaches are letting Latu take his place. Holy shit, if that is true -
@sonics1993 it doesn't make sense to me. Jimmy Lake was arguably one of our best positional recruiters but even he lost out on kids like Pola-Mao, David Long, Kelee Ringo, etc. When jimmy lost out on those kids... did he not learn that he would need big boy recruiters? How would jimmy not learn from Pete's mistakes of strausser and pease?sonics1993 said:

He thought he was hiring good recruiters when he promoted Harris and hired Cato and Brown but he as wrong. He also underestimated the negative impact of hiring Donovan as a OC.UDubHusky23 said:

I think Cato will be a good recruiter. Yes, he's green but he's aggressive. He's got it rough being new the new guy trying to recruit with the stigma of Donovan as the OC. Moore is better than advertised. Otten going early in the draft next year will go a long way in bolstering Cato's recruiting prowess.sonics1993 said:

The Oregon insiders say they only have room for 3 or so more players and WR/Worthy and CB/Davies are 2 of them.Baseman said:
