I was just a kid but I remember it well and have two cousins and other acquaintances who attended. My ex-boss who lived in Bethel with his parents, lived the whole thing for months. His stories are fascinating and his photo album of the event is great to look through.

A question for anyone interested: Where did the movement go wrong. How did it fail?

I have my own opinion but for those that even know what the movement back then was, I would like to hear your opinion.

They lost the love of live and the care of the well being of others. In short they became conservatives.

I hear you can care for others without needing the government to force you to and do a much better job than the bureaucrats. But you hate freedom and REAL hippies love it.

Pretty sure people still get stoned, fuck and listen to music. Not necessarily in that order.

The hippies destroyed the nation. They are the college professors and infiltrated every bit of our learning institutions just as they were directed to by the reds. "destroy you from within" That's the hippies!

The Hippies are grateful for your overestimation of their influence.
