Epstein:
-tries to commit suicide
-he is put on suicide watch
- he is taken off suicide watch by the Prison Psychologist and Warden
-The psychologist must interview the prisoner in person and write a lengthy report of why he is recommending this
-protocol still calls for guards to check every 30 minutes which was not done
-now there is no video of the “suicide”

According to AP & NYT Epstein’s guards were working an extreme amount of overtime due to staff shortages. Epstein’s cellmate was moved from his cell the Saturday before the “suicide”.
