Is he going to beat out Walton for the last rb spot (drake and ballage are locked in at 1/2)? He should definitely but nfl coaches can be FS
He should. Walton is a talented dude. He's bigger than Gaskin and has/had the same burst. He really fucked up his ankle at Miami his senior season, and some say he hasn't been the same since. So maybe the burst isn't there. Don't know.
Regardless of all that, he's turned out to be a fuck up. He's constantly doing stupid shit and getting into legal trouble. You can do that in the NFL, but you have to really fucking good for people to put up with it. He hasn't proven to be that yet.
Walton has some upside, but I think Gaskin can play in the NFL against the 1s, and of course he has his head screwed on much better than Mark Walton.

If Gas Can makes it out of the season without being charged on several counts of anal destruction....
Thankfully Walton was just 6 for 12 (also with a TD).
But as receivers Gaskin went 3 for 19 and a score on 3 targets and Walton was 0 for 0 on 2 targets.
Obviously impossible to determine who played better based on just a box score but on the surface Myles looks better.
I'm guessing Laird didn't play, he didn't touch the ball.
That's how he's going to make it in the league at first. Catch the ball consistently as a third down type of back, wait for an injury and hopefully be able to carve out more of a role as an early down guy. It's a shame he got drafted by such a shitty team.
Never said anything like that. I said he'd be a late round pick or UDFA and would have an uphill battle making an NFL roster and I was right. Rooting for him.
