Pesci is the man. Age hasn't been kind. He looks great in the trailer and looks to be in perfect acting form.

I can't believe no other studio picked it up. Netflix stepped up. Will get some theatrical release.

You are telling me no Ray Liota????

A Scorsese film with that cast and it's straight to Netflix? Fishy.

Netflix has been purchasing the distribution rights to some bona-fide good films recently. It's the new direction they're heading in.

Films like Beasts of No Nation, Ballad of Buster Scruggs, Birdbox, and of course Roma were all released via Netflix. It's not a red flag of any sorts.

Yeah I thought about this after I posted. You're right. And with Disney+ big dicking 60%+ of their library, some course correcting like this makes sense.

    Still feels....unbecoming.

Yeah, it still has that stigma and kind of takes the air out of what should be a big release. I'm not necessarily a fan of the trend.

Not really. No studio wanted to foot the $150+ million budget. Netflix did. It should be good.
