So good. You'll love it.ThomasFremont said:The Wheel of Time is the best fantasy series I’ve ever read. Buckle up, it’s long. Amazon TV series is beginning production this month.
The Silmarillion. Read it in advance of the new LoTR/Tolkien series Amazon is making.
Just finished The War on Normal People by Andrew Yang. Can’t recommend it enough.
First Law trilogy is on the shelf tanned ready and rested.
Currently reading Fire and Blood cuz I’m a sucker for them dragons.
Been on a real nerd bender lately...

Finished this one a couple days ago, Raven Rock.

Completely my wheelhouse so I loved it. It does have much to say, between the lines, about the impact nuclear weapons have on our politics. -
I'm assuming this is a cataclysmic read.PurpleThrobber said:Jess Walter has some good reads:
The Financial Lives of the Poets, Citizen Vince, Ruby Ridge
The Last Tsar on Netflix is pretty solid.Doog_de_Jour said:
Pretty much...but it’s the most fascinating train wreck of a dynasty. It’s also interesting seeing how the politics were influenced by the Russian Orthodox Church.GrundleStiltzkin said:

Great fucking book. Also recommend this:GrundleStiltzkin said:I may have thrown this out before, but deserves second if so.

Meticulous research.
Red Platoon is the story of the final battle at COP Keating and the 2 books should be read together. 1 of the 2 Medal of Honor winners ended up at Fort Lewis around 2010.

Read this years ago by the Colonel in charge of reverse engineering Roswell tech. Even more plausible today. We sure had a leap the last half of the 20th century. Confirmation bias? I think we will be told aliens are real soon. We are being groomed for it
