Maybe it's just me, but I prefer watching Aussie rules over all the other forms of football out there, like CFL, arena football, and rugby.
3 downs in CFL sucks and breaks up the action.
arena football field is too small
rugby doesn't have the kick-ass Australian commentators
Gaelic Football and Aussie Rules are great. International rules is fun (although better when they had more fights between the Irish and the Australians). And perhaps the greatest incident to ever happen in any match occured during an international rules game:
The three downs in CFL does suck when neither team can move the ball, but I sort of wish the incorporated the kicking rules from CFL into football instead of getting rid of kicking altogether (onside kicks on punts and field goals, no fair catch).

Rugby has Australian commentators for Australian games. HTH.
Anyway, rugby has a real international game with an actual World Cup, unlike any of the other forms of football you name. Before even getting into anything else, that makes it superior.
I've followed the AFL on and off. I got the AFLTV package for the first time in a few years last season. One year too late though unfortunately, as my Eagles had just won the Premiership the year before.
For those of you in desperate need of your sports fix, the AFL restarted their season this week, and there have been a number of really great games.
I have the WatchAFL package, which allows you to watch every game life, or anytime afterwards at your own leisure. Something I also didn't realize about the package until a few days ago, is they have every game up dating back to and including the 2017 season.
In other words, i've basically been doing nothing besides binge watching Aussie Rules Football for the last few days.

Planning on getting it again this time around.
What the actual fuck is going on in that game!? I need to look up some Aussie football rules, apparently.
Even here in Canada it's not very popular, outside of the Prairie Provinces.
