I've got all the help that I need brother. Don't worry, I was just trying to make m thoughts be know about Bowers. I'm a whole different animal on BTDW, but I like to respect this board and it's overall Legacy. I won't go off the rails here, I promise.
His forty and shuttle at the opening finals were 4.73 and 4.44(same as Bowers rn). A monster Tight-End doesn't have to mean 4.5 speed. That's why I said Brock Bowers isn't your ordinary TE. A monster TE is a physical freak. Someone that can get off the line cleanly and has formidable burst up the field. Where a TE excels is his physique, obviously. Brock Bowers is a 6-3 225 pound kid who isn't your normal traditional TE. Arik Gilbert however, is.
You know who else wasn't your normal TE? The great Vernon Davis. All he could do was run 4.3(forty) move at 4.1(shuttle) and jump 42 inches. But he also had phenomenal Length for a 6-3 guy. It's not hard to understand why he was taken 6th overall.
Bowers' "versatility" could be his weakness. His athletic traits are overwhelming right now but they might not be at the next level like Vernon Davis, And for any pass-catcher, length is a massive have and if you don't have it it's a massive hole. Sometimes for a kid like Bowers, "versatility" can turn into "tweener" and that can turn into bust as we've seen before. Again I think Bowers' future is at H-back/slot TE but if you want to disagree that's ok.
Saw all the new posts and assumed he committed to Georgia. A bit relieved we still have a chance....for now.
What’s freaking taking so long? Lemme guess. Brock wants to go to UW, UGA has some sweet bennies family looks like a recreation of 12 Angry Men deliberating right now.

Watch the length when he's stretching his arms out and running.

Why does this always happen to us?
