It's seeming less and less likely we offer DJ Rogers. Without him it's hard to see this class getting past 12 blue chips, 13 absolute max.

Yeah, closing with Covington, Hector, Banks, Esteen, Smalls, & Carlton would be pretty fucking tasty... and not totally unrealistic. I guess you gotta add Overman to the list, cuz PaoPao's a cold turd. That would be 23 total which might be more than we have room for.

Filling out the secondary class is really important going forward... but for me this class ultimately hinges on how we do with Banks and Smalls.

There'll be room. Definitely some couches hitting the sale floor after the season.

Some possibilities:

-Chin (grad transfer)
-Gilchrist (grad transfer)
-Rice (grad transfer)
-Sodeberg (though I think he'd just keep the scholly and finish his degree)
-Draco Bynum (didn't hear his name once in fall camp, sounds like he already got passed by Tuitele and Bandes)
-Kizer (if his back is fucked)

Rice and Gilchrist are both moving up (relative to where they were) and are running with the 2s. There's no shame in being solid senior depth.

I actually think that’s the case with those guys and normally I’m pretty quick to write guys off. They aren’t good, but they aren’t horrible either.
