Wilftong suggested a few programs are in that mix: Oklahoma (due to its offensive recruiting), Notre Dame (recruiting extremely will coming off a playoff appearance), Washington (opportunity to pull a Clemson in a weaker league), Texas (blueblood program in a recruiting hotbed), USC (sleeping giant), Tennessee (won some head-to-heads against some of the bigger schools).

So, we have an opportunity to be "Clemson in a weaker league" eh?

I'll take that fo' sho'. Dominate and then take on the top 5 nationally ... gotta start somewhere. Wonder why Wiltfong doesn't mention Oregon ha .....

also, read the comments ... some funny shit there.

... "Xavier Thomas has had 3 different cars since he committed to Clemson. All very document-able. An 18 year old kid with no job whose dad just got out of federal prison. Oh and that dad has a new job and a new house. That dad also, while in prison, sold his pressure washing business for $250,000 to a Clemson booster." ....

Pressure washing can be lucrative. We have a warehouse in inner SE Portland, and we pay some guy $4k a year to make sure all the human feces are washed off the sidewalks, and, very unfortunately, the walls. Thankfully heroin poops look like goat shit, so he doesn’t have to put in too much effort.

What I’m trying to say is that big time programs do this. That’s why 2/3 of the Alabama roster drives Dodges that commensurate to their recruiting ranking. It’s why Oregon staffers rented cars for Cliff Harris. It’s why USC has connections at the State Dept to get passports. Everyone gets something, you’ve got to play the game,

It’s why Washington can’t be Clemson. In the south they all do it, no one can snitch. They all do it here as well, just in a subtle manner. The PAC-12 isn’t at a disadvantage just because the SEC offer more exposure.

    The Pac 11 snitches

LOL at going to LSU or Georgia instead of Oklahoma or Texas because you want to win a national championship. Have fun losing to Saban every year.

Don’t Oklahoma or Texas lose to bama when they play too? Not following here. Asking for a friend.

Unless your name is Clemson, you lose to AL.

Always better to have to face Bama at the last possible stage. Better chance of someone else knocking them off first.

    So non-SEC juggernaut > Georgia > LSU
