    Which is why I loathe him. Bush 41 was a good President overall and didn't deserve to lose to Bubba. The economy was coming out of a recession by election time in 1992 and would have done great in his second term.

    Bad choice for a running mate, no doubt, but Stockdale had big clanging brass balls.
    Totally unelectable. Not disparaging his military service or integrity. Just totally unrelatable as a candidate.
