Hey...I agree. I like the idea of offering him as a greyshirt...you add the fact Huard probably won't redshirt and may leave after 3 and that gives him a good chance as two years as a starter if he wins the job. With his dad in his ear I think he'd prefer that over just a regular offer from us.

Washington is where his father, Leon Sr., played, and the school he grew up dreaming of playing for.
"I've been going to Washington games since I was little," said Neal. "It's the dream school and I've always wanted to follow my dad's legacy and go to Washington.
Oregon State has also been staying in communication with him.
"Coach (Jonathan) Smith said they like me and would want to use me how he used Chico McClatcher (when he was the OC at Washington)," said Neal.
