No excuse not to win the title?
We no longer have Browning obviously. And Hamdan has had enough TIM to figure it out with the offense.
Lubick is gone and now we have a pretty awesome WR coach who molded the likes of Cooper Kupp.
The defense will gel eventually... star ratings wise it’s plenty talented, and up there with the best defenses in the nation.
If we can combine an elite offense with the elite defense why not win the natty? Any excuse not to is bullshit. We have a piss easy schedule so there’s no excuse to fuck up this time. There’s no excuse to lose on the farm for the third time in a row. There’s no excuse to fuck up in Zona either. All the really good teams we play we play at home, where we usually play better.
No reason not to win out and secure the third playoff seed. And then no excuse to play like bitches in the playoff. We have an Oline with the potential to be truly elite, a potentially elite QB (Like Trevor Lawrence) a potentially elite running back (like Travis Etienne) and some pretty good wide receivers like Austin Osborne.
No excuse for the offense to be a shit show this time around.

Oh boy!
I see the word "potentially" a lot. Hamdan sucks until he doesn't. Will he and Petersen learn to be "stubborn with the run" sometimes?
Will this team learn to not shit itself on the big stage?
Still way too many question marks.
Can't have games like the ones against Oregon and Cal. -
Theres no excuse for not going 12-0. As far as the playoffs go...well, hopefully we'll get to see.

Like 20 other fanbases could make this same claim. Yes, the potential is there if everything turns our way - no injuries, Eason plays like a 5-star, Ahmed steps it up, Trey returns to form, the young guys step up on the d line, the offensive playcalling levels up to name a few.
Right now, it's also a possibility that Eason hasn't improved since he was at Georgia, Ahmed never learns to run with purpose, we get 3 major injuries, the young d line gets battered, Trey never fully recovers, and we run the same damn offense.
Based on what we saw in spring, we're no closer to the former than we are to the latter. -
Have you ever tried on doogman?ZoneUW said:I don’t see any excuse why we can’t win a national title this year.
