5 reasons: Cuog Rose Bowl edition

This is it guys. It's been a long hard road back, but finally Leach has all the pieces for a championship team, and he is ready to take us back Pasadena again, after a 17 year hiatus. Here are my top 5 reasons we are going to the Rosebowl this year.

1. We got a mean bunch upfront on D.

This front 4 on our defense is going to give opposing defenses the least amount of time to throw the ball in Cougar defense history.

We have 4 athletes in the starting 4 upfront on Defense that all have the ability to beat their man every passing down for a sack.

Sometimes it's going to look like the opposing teams doesn't even have an offensive line blocking for them, because the 4 super athletes on our D-line are going to have plays where all 4 of them beat their opposing blocker for the quadruple sack. A four man dog pile on top of the opposing quarterback. You can book this picture right now in your memory bank, because it's going to happen. The 4 bodies will be McDougel, the two Willie's, and Nnamdi O.

2. Our secondary is going to make life on the opposing quarterbacks hell.

We are going to easily lead the Pac-12 in sacks because of the blanket coverage that gives up a plenitude of coverage sacks. Mark it down. This will be because of the 7 man drop and the skills of the players in coverage is at such a high level this year.

Our corners, safeties, linebackers, and nickle backs are at such a high level right now. They are going to give the defensive line all day to sack the quarterback, because no opposing receiver will be open under 3 seconds of the quarterback drop back time.

I have not seen a spring game with the coverage skills like we showed this last spring since the 2003 Rosebowl defense. We have some Jason David's, Coleman's, Trufants, and Lamont Thompsons esk players on this team. We are going to lead the Pac-12 in picks.

3. Did someone say Run game? Yes we did!

We have arguably the best running back in the Pac-12 with Borgi. He keeps the opposing defense's more than honest. He literally can break any play for a touchdown. He also literally makes the first guy miss, and usually the second guy. He is going to be paramount to our unstoppable offense this year. A defense that cant just focus on stopping the pass, is a defense that is in some real trouble.

4. The best WSU receiving core ever!!!

I know the fab 5 was great, but what about the "Great eight" we have this year? I would not be surprised if half of our 8 receivers in the rotation this year play in the NFL in the future.

5. We have the best two head coaches in the conference.

" let a man focus on one thing, and he will master it"

We have Leach focused 100 percent on a perfect offense, and we have Claeys focused 100 percent on a perfect defense. Both of these head coaches have mastered their trade(see the Cougs Holiday bowl against Claeys).
This year Clayes brought in the horses and had some mature players come off transfer redshirt(McDougel) and freshman redshirt. We have the perfect storm of Coug greatness, now we just have to come to all the games and yell our heads off when we are on defense!!!

Let's Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is fake, right?

It totally sounds like what a Cuog would write.

Their defensive line athletes will never get past Center.
