No I didn't claim that.

Obama didn't grow up poor because his grand parents who weren't poor and his step-dad who wasn't poor supported his ass.

He attended expensive private schools and never had to work. He didn't ever live in poverty, and he never experience poverty growing up.

The fact that he attended expensive private schools on it's own isn't evidence that he was never poor but when taken into account with all the other information about his life it does challenge the claim that he grew up poor.

My brother went to Occidental College while I was going to UW. And at the time we were kinda pour but somehow made it work.
