The GOP doesn't really want to further expose the fault lines in the party. Too many senators might be compelled to do the right thing were Mueller to testify publically.RaceBannon said:
You might but the democrats don't. Nadler can do whatever he wants as I recallHHusky said:
I think it's hilarious that Mark Levin is trying to get the spineless GOP to do something bold. You and I are allies on this call to action. We both want Mueller to testify publically to questions under oath.RaceBannon said:Someone is triggered
The GOP wants that piece of shit under oath. The democrats don't.
Muller is the spinner here but you know that somewhere in that old brain of yours
The GOP is spineless the democrats are third world corrupt. The last thing they want is Mueller under oath
Barr and the IG just may give Linzy a spine. Stay tuned
I'd bet against it because one thing @oregonblitzkrieg is right about is that there aren't two parties there is the state and there is the people and the people no longer have any representation
If it were true the democrats would have him testify under oath in the House and demand it in the Senate
Nadler said he didn't want Mueller to have to answer a bunch of GOP questions
Any thoughts on why?
Muller had two years to put investigate, two years to find a crime, two years to write a report with shit like evidence and stuff and we didn't even get a tee shirt
Dershowitz is right you know. Mueller is a partisan hack. Like I said two years ago
You want him to testify but not "rush" into it?
Does 2028 work for you? Do you think we can fit him in the schedule?
Nadler clearly said why he is afraid to have Mueller under oath. I'm sure he appreciates your help though -
Graham can make him testify. Why are you obsessed with Nadler?RaceBannon said:

Following extraordinarily rare public remarks Wednesday by special counsel Robert Mueller, where he appeared to close the door on any possibility of him testifying to Congress, a top House Democrat backed down on previous threats to compel Mueller’s appearance with a subpoena.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler did not explicitly rule out the option of issuing a subpoena, but the Democrat’s remarks to reporters in his New York district contrasted prior vows made earlier this month to subpoena Mueller and that the special counsel “will come at some point.”
Instead, Nadler shied away from that position, just hours after the special counsel stated, “the report is my testimony.”
“Mr. Mueller told us a lot of what we need to hear today,” the chairman said when prompted whether he would subpoena Mueller.

As for why Mueller would want to testify in private, Nadler speculated that the special counsel "doesn't want to be public in what some people will regard as a political spectacle."
"He envisions himself, correctly, as a man of great rectitude and apolitical and he doesn't want to participate in anything that he might regard as a political spectacle, especially if the Republicans on the committee start asking him questions about the beginning of the ... investigation," Nadler said.
So who sounds scared? -

C'mon Lindsey! Subpoena Mueller!

It is interesting that Nadler was all fired up to subpoena Mueller and everyone else involved but got quiet some time before Muellers 9 minute statement. Now Nadler is happy with 9 minutes.
I am sure the coincidence passed you by HHuskey otherwise you would be right there with Nadler 2 weeks ago threatening to subpoena Mueller right? -
Trump doesn't have to rely on Linzy. It would be nice if the GOP had a spine but it is what it is
Trump has the AG and the IG and Barr has his guy on it. Will we? be disappointed again by the DC elite? Probably but the reporting is already out there for those who have ears to hear.
There is a lot more evidence about the malfeasance of the investigation than there is of collusion and obstruction. The "right wing" media has been reporting on it for over a year now.
Which is why Nadler doesn't want Mueller anywhere near it
Comey and Brennen need to be put under oath as well.
Rod Rosenstein has already turned to the good guys.

Nadler and O'Keefed revealed the game. Mueller statement yesterday was his "testimony" and Mueller didn't have to go under oath or be questioned about it.Bendintheriver said:It is interesting that Nadler was all fired up to subpoena Mueller and everyone else involved but got quiet some time before Muellers 9 minute statement. Nadler got what he wanted and he was able to shield Mueller from having to answer questions under oath from Republicans.
Isn't it interesting how none of the Rats have any interest in the origins of this investigation. -
I truly hope it does happen. I want to see the Pelosi impeachment train so bad it hurts where I pee.HHusky said:

Btw, Nadler correctly understood Mueller to be saying Daddy committed crimes, but it's Congress' job to hold him accountable. So did Graham. I don't really expect this will happen. -
You must have me confused with someone who doesn't want Mueller to testify.Bendintheriver said:It is interesting that Nadler was all fired up to subpoena Mueller and everyone else involved but got quiet some time before Muellers 9 minute statement. Now Nadler is happy with 9 minutes.
