Australia has one of the only successful genocide campaigns in history. They glossed over that fact when I went to highschool.
From what I can tell, it seems like NZ does a better job of integrating Maori culture into the rest of the culture. Aboriginal culture feels very seperate to me. We learnt about it quite a bit, but we aren't really a part of it.
