He springs into action taking “head on” an obvious problem over many years by announcing he will create a “task force”. What a guy. This must be what “leadership” looks like.😂
Pasadena’s homeless population spiked by 18 percent this year, as Los Angeles County as a whole saw its first decline in homelessness in four years, according to data recently released by L.A. Homeless Services Authority.
The San Gabriel Valley also bucked the County trend to a lesser extent, with a 5 percent increase in homeless population, based on this year’s homeless counts. The Countywide homeless population dropped by 4 percent, to 52,765 people.
Pasadena Housing Department Director Bill Huang says he suspects trains and rising housing costs are two primary reasons for the local increase in homeless population.

That scary task force will solve the problem right quick...
1 - Quit sucking Big Pharma's dick and taking their money. Both parties. They are in no hurry to stem the opioid problem in this country. Hurts earnings. 2 - Toss a few doctors in jail for doling out scrips like candy. 3 - Enforce the fucking laws on the books and quit handing out enabling tools like free needles. Heroin and meth are illegal. Quit treating them like some sacred tonic. 4 - Throw the fuckers in jail for shooting up and shitting on sidewalks, put them in treatment programs during incarceration. Rinse.repeat if necessary.
This isn't fucking rocket science, people. Christ.
El Monte is at best 5 miles from your house. I don't know shit about El Monte, I just know it sucks where you live. Too fucking poor to live on the Westside have to live out in the smog. Is that your wife trying to catch the bus CD?
They are "solving" the issue by trying to force homeless into surrounding areas to diffuse the problem. "Navigation Centers" on their way into your neighborhood soon enough @CirrhosisDawg.

Indeed, you don’t know shit. El Monte is 35 minutes away from Pasadena. The Valley Hunt Club and I had bill-barrish belly laughs at the rest of your gibberish.

At the very least the Government should allow at least a damned pilot program for IBOGAINE clinics for crying out loud.

My mistake, it's 11 miles from downtown Pasadena but we both know you don't live in downtown Pasadena. You're east of down town up in the smoggy hills closer to El Monte. Probably no more than 8 or 9 miles away and the only reason it might take you 35 mins is because the traffic suck so bad where you live.
