Last year was the first time its current borders were used after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned the state’s Republican gerrymander. The large, primarily rural district covers much of northeastern Pennsylvania. Trump won the same geographic area by 36 points in 2016. The seat will be up for grabs again in the 2020 midterm election.
