I think it's 60/40 that he gets the nod. The whacko Dems are getting all the free pub these days, but there's still a large number of dem voters who are more moderate who perceive the ability to beat Trump as the biggest asset in a candidate.

I think the party is probably with him in spirit but the desire to beat Trump has made some of them more pragmatic and Biden to many Rats looks like the best choice to beat Trump.
