The Vogel hiring is good overall for the franchise.
LeBron is on the slide, prime LeBron would be able to carry that team to an 8 seed.

Missing the playoffs sets the entire plan back a year and LeBron doesn't have that tIme.

If he did that, no doubt Lue would be running the show and they'd be all-in on operation Lebron championship.

Hiring Vogel feels like they're hedging the Lebron era with actually developing the young core.
