    So calling Hitler evil was the "mindset" that led to the Iraq war and we shouldn't have called him evil. And the Soviets weren't evil they just did evil things like US. Appears you're upset the Commies lost the Cold War Comrade.

    Do you ever reflect on the fact that before you joined here in August 2018 you had never heard of “Hondo” but now, some 5,500 posts later he’s your mortal enemy who you spend the majority of your day “calling out” for his bullshit to an audience of maybe 3 people who actually care. But that certainly wasn't the conventional wisdom at the time and it certainly wasn't what our intelligence agencies thought. Reagan and few others saw if differently and that's why he knew that he could spend the Soviets into oblivion and that's how he won the Cold War without firing a shot.
