Mueller-Barr determine the bar to conviction on obstruction of justice is too high?
Troomps: “Vindication!”
Chicago prosecutors come to a similar conclusion?
Troomps: “I am outraged!”
There was no crime. Ever. You can not commit criminal obstruction of justice of nothing. There was no there there. No crime so no obstruction of investigating a crime. Dumbass!
No one is quoting that portion of the report on TV except Fox. But then the lefty MSM wouldn't be able to talk about but but but obstruction!
Read the end of this article. I got it from the Communist News Network so you commies might believe.
State's Attorney Kim Foxx's office says, "After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett's volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case." The statement is consistent with what our sources said about Jussie only getting community service if he'd been convicted. The decision is NOT sitting well with Chicago PD.

So HC's argument is that the Chicago police screwed up this investigation because of racism.
Gawd it really is the unifying theory for the left.
A corrupt racist police department screwing up a slam dunk investigation and dropping charges is the most plausible outcome here. Welcome to Chicago PD!

Police corruption works better these days with the diversity in big city law enforcement
IN this case however the prosecutor who dropped the charges looks to be the corrupt party
She could have dropped it due to police misconduct or because she as told to by the Obama machine
Seeing as how the cops tried for a week or two to get Jussie to give them his phone and some evidence and the prosecutor recused herself after contact then un recused to drop the charges I certainly know which seems far more plausible
eelings of vindication mixed with fear for Vondell Wilbourn, one of 18 men whose drug convictions were tossed in a historic hearing Monday because the charges were linked to corrupt former Chicago police Sgt. Ronald Watts.
Wilbourn, 42, who said he was framed and arrested twice by Watts in 2004 and 2005, worried the attention would put another target on his back.
“At the time this was happening, we were telling everyone, but no one listened,” Wilbourn said. “Even though it’s in the past, there will never be closure.”
The hearing marked the second time that a group of men targeted by Watts and his tactical team at an affordable housing complex on the South Side had their convictions overturned in a mass hearing. So far, 42 people have had convictions dismissed as part of a review by the Cook County state’s attorney’s office and lawyers for the victims. The men have accused Watts of making up the cases when they refused to pay him protection money, sell drugs for him or let him steal weapons.

Don't project your racism on others prop boy
However it was the prosecutor who dropped the charges and since race is so important that could be a reason to include her photo
n 2010, the composition of the department's total personnel was:
Male: 70%
Female: 30%
White: 49%
African-American/Black: 29%
Hispanic: 19%
Other: 3%[15]
Whites were a minority 9 years ago. The majority minority but the days of lily white departments and prosecutors are thankfully behind us
Might want to start a new narrative
Obama man Rahm Emanuel covered up the Laquan McDonald murder. It’s institutional rot.
