@2001400ex yes on the reason for posting - just to rile a few people up, and it worked.
You forgot on who not to believe "I think I'll trust people who study this for a living over political pundits and politicians, and scientists bought by politicians".
By the way, how many of the politicians have made big bucks off pushing climate change?
also - I ignore most of the above and try to concentrate on reputable people of Hollywood. Leonard DiCaprio is my favorite.
Well then. You think 90+ percent of the scientists are bought off? But are not worried about politicians being bought off. Ok!LebamDawg said:@2001400ex yes on the reason for posting - just to rile a few people up, and it worked.

Actually I don't trust anything coming out from government. It is hard enough to believe our government and worse to trust the UN and their policies. I sure as hell do not want any government from Europe telling us what to do either. Good thing about being old, I won't have to see the results. Sad for my kids....
Do you really think that government has the answer for climate change? If you do, I feel sorry for you.

Where did I say anything about trusting the government? I'm trusting the scientists who study global warming for a living.LebamDawg said:Actually I don't trust anything coming out from government. Ok, who do you trust on climate change then? -
You will know when the green gaia religionists are true believers when they support nukes, fracking and exporting LNG to Europe and Asia. Until then it is all political posturing and lying - all for the power. Asked but never answered, "How much will it cost and what will it accomplish?".

Trusting scientists is not the issue - they cannot implement anything, governments will take what the science community states and distort the hell out of it. That is what we? will be stuck with.2001400ex said:

Who do I trust? Not sure. Hopefully a brand new flu that no one can react to in time for a cure and 75% of the population dies. That would work. -
Fingers crossed!LebamDawg said:

They have been caught seriously cooking the books. Their livelihood depends on the existence of global warming. They will make damn sure there is global warming so those checks keep coming in.
Those grants don't get funded for shit proven wrong. As I have said if you are paid to find a certain outcome you will find that outcome so you keep getting paid. -
and before anyone can state you are a climate denier - cooking the books goes both ways, you get paid to find the answer they seek.Sledog said:They have been caught seriously cooking the books. Statistics and facts be damned -
scientists are massive fags. Find a cure for baldness and sagging boobs. Nothing else matters.
