HRYK, we've been fighting a cold war for more than a decade without even realizing it. We've allowed the Chinese to do things we would have never allowed the Russians to do. They've also embraced markets to a degree where they more closely resemble fascism than communism which imo is a lot more dangerous to western style democracies.
