Why would Bennett want to go to UCLA??? He’s getting all of the talent He could ever want at a place that cares about B-ball just as much as UCLA does, in the here and now.

He’s ruling the toughest conference in Hoops year in and year out. Eventually they will get past the Sweet 16 and win a Natty.

You don't think UCLA has a higher recruiting ceiling than UVA?

    Not to mention salary ceiling?
Nope. Bennett doesnt recruit the AAU one and done Kids anyway. Most of them play 3 or 4 years. He has just as good of facilities as UCLA in a gorgeous smaller town. Besides, if Bennett ever did have a serious discussion with UCLA, UVA would simply ask him what his number is, rip up his contract and give him a new one.

All things considered you compete with Washington and maybe ASU/SC/Oregon instead of Duke/NC. If UCLA wants him he's theirs.

Why? He's winning in the ACC. The best conference usually

    He's competing fine

You're grinding against other blue bloods just to win the regular season that no one watches.

In the Pac 12 he would probably run it better than Arizona ever has, build up routine #1 seeds, etc.

I mean fuck Virginia. It's great winning the regular season title and then Duke and NC fly right by you in the tourney.

Need some daWgs running whatever plodding shit he swears by.

You think he'll win tourney games at UCLA? From the Slack 12?

Actually agree with Salem. He has more competition out east but a lot more to choose from. Of the current roster, only four of the top ten producing players are from California (6-4), but if you look at the top 7, getting the most minutes, only 2 out of the 7 are from California. Demographics in places like LA have shifted. UCLA will always attract top kids but I think the ability to recruit top to bottom talent is easier in the middle of the eastern states.

He’d be in the middle of the second largest metro area, which produces plenty of top talent each year, recruiting against pretty much nobody except a couple P12 programs and any of the national powers that wanna shoot their shot. GTFO.

The roster problems are more indicative of Alford being an idiot than UCLA’s inability to recruit top talent.

But how many of those Kids want to play methodical ball like Bennett does? And how many of them would respond positively when they get yanked for a Defensive lapse or taking a bad shot outside of the team offense? Because that’s what He would do.

But it all boils down to why would He want to take a job in the PAC 12, when He’s dominating what is never worse than the 2nd best conference in America? And usually the best one.
