Meh, nothing too bothersome in there.

A 47/47 split on Medicare For All given the framing is good imho.

I do enjoy 77% of republicans wanting the government to leave them alone. Reminds me of when they hated Obamacare but liked the ACA.

Paid by taxes paid by someone else. Once you tell them that their taxes will have to raised in order to pay for it support for it craters

That the Rat party can't even get to 50% on capitalism is telling. The commies are getting numerous.

Most people are idiots. Did we discover something new here?

Here’s a poll. “Should a billionaire give you a million dollars?”

I wonder what the results would be?

That's not what the poll said. It said "and pays by taxes". Most people with common sense knows going to single payer will save money. And the vast majority of people will pay less out of pocket. And we can end the bullshit of medical tied to work.

I know two people currently with cancer who can't leave their job because of medical insurance. One has a very good plan that is allowing an alternative treatment that most won't cover. The other wants to go out on his own but can't because his medical would cost too much.

Those are isolated instances but that shit happens all the time.

Don't you think it would save money having those freeloaders getting preventative care rather than using the ER?

Or is that too complicated for your brain to handle?

Yes. Emergency rooms are for emergencies. Not colds. Of course that really started when they passed laws that they were required to treat anyone for anything.

“Paid by taxes other people wil pay, the rich!” I’m all in!

Literally one small population country has single payer.

Saying “common sense” doesn’t help your logical fallacious argument. It just makes it a logical fallacy.

The Common Sense Fallacy (or ‘Appeal to Common Sense’) is somewhat related to the Argument from Popularity and/or the Argument from Tradition. However, it differs from these fallacies by not necessarily relying on popularity or tradition.

Instead, common sense relies on the vague notion of ‘obviousness’, which means something like ‘what we perceive from personal experience’ or ‘what we should know without having had to learn.’ In other words, common sense is not necessarily supported by evidence or reasoning. As such, beliefs based on common sense are unreliable. The fallacy lies in giving too much weight to common sense in drawing conclusions, at the expense of evidence and reasoning.

In some ways, scientific methods have been developed to avoid the errors that can result from common sense. For instance, common sense used to tell us that the Earth is flat and that the Sun revolves around the Earth – because that is the way things appear to us without scientific investigation. Another example of ‘common sense’ is that the world appears to have been designed, so therefore there must have been a designer.

Einstein’s theories of relativity were initially resisted, even by the scientific community, because they defied common sense. They seemed to belong more in the realm of science fiction than reality, until they were later verified by scientific observations. Our modern Global Positioning System (GPS) now uses Einstein’s relativity theories. This initial resistance may have led Einstein to later say that ”Common sense is nothing more than a deposit of prejudices laid down by the mind before you reach eighteen” .

Your anecdotal evidence is anecdotal. I know people who have cancer who were cured with out any financial hardship. So fuck off
