“I got the vibe it’s, ‘Browning is out and now we get good.’ Jake Browning was a special player for us, say what you want. I know I say stats are for losers but let’s look at the stats. Let’s all be losers for a minute. (Browning) won more games than anybody ever (for UW) at quarterback. So that’s unfair. It bums me out for (Eason) to have to deal with that. No matter how you try to insulate and all that, those kids feel that stuff.”
I don't think being better than Jake Browning is something that is weighing heavily on Eason's shoulders. He's better than Browning throwing with his left arm.
Petersen mentioned he isn't worried about Kizer long-term, but that back injury is alarming. He had a back issue in high school that kept him out his senior year and led to his grayshirt at UW.
Probably one of the reasons we are after 3 TE's this class and Luciano is moving to the blocking TE roll (at least temporarily). If Bryant moves on after this year the depth could be incredibly thin next year. PaoPao better get on it.
Special teams efficiency rating of 56th isn’t good and isn’t close, it’s the kind of slapdick shit that makes you go 10-3 with no meaningful wins for the 3rd year in a row.
Top 15 special teams = meaningful win this year Peter
When you consider that for about a decade James won games he shouldn't with special teams it is even worse that our? best coach since then is so fucking bad at it

My favorite class of HH post. The use of a meaningless, unverifiable, goal post moving phrase like “meaningful win”. This way, the poster is never wrong.

1985 Oregon State disagrees
He should have been fired but one outlier hardly negates countless examples but this is the internets and I've come to expect poor replies like this to my gems

Keizer back issue, no practice.
Norggy, ankle, no practice.
Byrant and Otton are the main TEs anyways, Culp is coming off his RS, and the staff already moved Luciano into the extra OT/ blocking TE role.
