By "competitive" I hope he means less bubble screens, lateral runs, slow-developing RPO plays, and 3rd down passes 2 yards short of the sticks.
I hope "competitive" means attacking opposing defenses, instead of trying to deceive, trick, or run away from them. That part of Pete's Offense will not be missed.

The comment about competition is good, but Lake was guilty of it himself with Cam Williams.

I disagree with you on this point because after seeing what Jimmy did in the Apple Cup last year when he put zero fucking d-lineman up front and confused the fuck out of Wazzu on that 3rd and 6 or whatever it was... that was fucking crazy.
