Petersen can’t get any gayer choosing CCR.

Helton choosing Ed Sheeran is pretty funny. Ed Sheeran isn’t bad but nobody under 30 should be choosing him.

In all reality the corner fade route should be bread and butter for Eason and Puka. Brown socks and Ross were somewhat successful. Even Pettis got some of that action. If Eason is who we thought he was then this should be money play for Washington.

The fade is a low percentage play even with high quality players. Use it to keep teams honest sure, but it shouldn’t be any kind of go to play.

wait... you think CCR is gay but Ed Sheeran is okay? LOL.

CCR is amazing. Have you listened to Cosmo's Factory? Man, that is amazing shit. Try on Ramble Tamble for a listen or CCR's long version of Heard it Through the Grapevine and then listen to Ed Sheeren and tell me which is gay.

    Fuckin' hell Roadie....
I do. I’m also not 50 years old. CCR is geezer music that doesn’t hold up to me. I know it fairly well, at least their hits. I didn’t know this was such a touchy subject.

Ed Sheeran is a very talented guy. Not my favorite type of music but to say he sucks is completely off base. He’s not one of these pop stars that doesn’t write his own songs. He writes his own and has written hits for other artists as well.

I'm 33 and CCR is one of my top 5 bands. Unlike The Dude, however, I also like the Eagles. Yes, it is possible to like music before your time.

I'm not sure what to make of that. Either Les Miles is way fucking more hip than could have ever been predicted, but even in that case, 21 savage is an odd choice. Or did his SID pick it for him?

    Other hat-tippers:

Dave Clawson, Wake Forest – Talking Heads

Gary Andersen, Utah State & Gus Malzahn, Auburn – The Cars (WHAT?)

    Walt Bell, UMass – Tool

Dave Doeren, NC State – Merle Haggard

    No credit given:

Doc Holliday, Marshall – (doesn’t have a favorite musical act)

Mike Leach further proves his greatness as the only P12 head coach with any REAL taste, and when I looked up what Norman Brown is, while it is stupefyingly bad, listening to it did me a great service. Best fried chicken I've ever had is at Chkn-N-Mo in Spokane, and it's run by a ~80 year old black dude, and he always had this kind of music on. I wondered if it was his misguided attempt at muzak, but Herm listing this shit as his FAVORITE confirms that old black dudes have either excellent or plain terrible taste in music.

Much respect for our Washington coach's musical tastes as well as UMass and NC State. Can't go wrong with Merle and Tool. I'd like to give another hat tip to my boy Jay Norvell at Nevada. I probably wouldn't have paid attention if Nevada wasn't my grad school alma mater, but if it weren't for this list I'm not sure if I ever would have discovered Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes. Smooth.
