Its an old philosophical debate. Do corporations have more responsibility to their country or their shareholders?
I say shareholders. Many libs say their country....of course that's because they aren't flipping the bill.
I think back to my youthful days when I first heard the term "globalization" and how my lib teachers thought it was so fucking great, now bitch and piss and moan about how we are losing jobs to outsourcing and manufacturing sector has dried up. Laugh all you want but Kia cars are cheap and one of the best cars on the road in terms of value and reliability.
That's their duty to their shareholders. I would be pissed if they didn't do this.
Mike Damone is right. A corporation's PRIMARY obligation is to its stockholders. Anybody who doesn't believe that is a communist, socialist, or an Obama Democrat (might be some duplication there...)
