It doesn't make sense to me how 1 in 7 white families could be millionaires when the median white house hold net worth is only $171,000.

Median is just the middle number. For every person above 171,000 there’s someone below 171,000.

The fact that a lot of you are shocked how a family could have a net worth of a million is telling. For example, my buddy bought a house in Redmond in 09 for $800k and it's worth almost $2 million now. That's an extreme example but I have more friends than not over 40 that are worth more than a million.

That being said, most billionaires give their wealth to charity rather than their kids. Look at Bill Gates. I don't know where Paul Allen shook out on that. I don't think he had kids and it went to his sister.

And yes most of his wealth wasn't taxed as it's in unrealized gains.

Hey strawman ass fucker, no one is shocked that a family could have a net worth over a million dollars, I’m shocked that 1 in 7 white famlies have a net worth of over a million.

Hell on account of that shitty investment you said I should have never made and my savings I have a net worth over a million dollars

Then how the fuck are you shocked about 1 in 7 white families? Oh wait, because it goes against your narrative.

It's clear that I suck at being a white male

What every happened to Bombay Saphire and a fresh bowl? That was pretty fucking white. Maybe the only thing you and Harv (RIP) had in common.

And those who inherit the wealth will be taxed when the gaines are realized. What’s you fucking point? Dumbshit

Did Reagan have to pay taxes on the appreciation of his house he sold to Gavin Newsom? El oh fucking El. OK! Got it.

You don't like any taxes. I get it. Move to another country that has way less taxes and see how it works out for you.

Well our country is fairly young relative and we bypassed every other country. And a lot of that growth came with high tax rates. Remember sending someone to the Moon and shit? That was a huge deal.

Point is. We are doing something right with the system we have in place. If you don't like the system, then move. Or STFU.

So why do we need a fundamental change?

    Oops
Am I asking for a fundamental change? No. Incremental change with Medicare for all would be good.
