Avista energy should have taken that Ontario Govt bullet head shot while they had the chance.
Good news for Idaho, they can soon buy their Clean power from President Inslee -
They have torn down 2 dams in the last 5 years.

Chincremental progress is a hallmark of the left

Now, a decades-long battle to take down the dams is finding new energy. The dam busters are seizing on a new star witness: mother orca whale Tahlequah. She swam with her dead calf through the Salish Sea for weeks in July, in a searing vision of loss watched around the world

The dams that count aren't going anywhere. And the ones that don't should have already been torn down.

I think the Columbia dams count. My cheap dad used two or three summer vacations to pile us in the wagon and go visit every damn one of them

That they do.
The lower Snake dams don't and need to go.

Nuclear is where we need to go. The technology is getting better to prevent the issues. The biproduct is still shitty and needs to be dealt with. There will come a time where we will start building nuclear plants again. The key is diversification and overall cleaner energy.RaceBannon said:

Tidal is another thing we need to develop. I'm sure we can find ways to do it without killing a shit ton of fish.
