Murphy is widely projected to be a first-round pick, and like Tapp, opted out of his remaining college eligibility to declare for the NFL Draft.
For the Huskies last season, Murphy logged 58 tackles, 17 passes defensed, four interceptions and one forced fumble. Following his impressive season, he was named to the All Pac-12 First Team and earned a spot on the AP’s and the USA TODAY’s Second Team All-American.
Tapp also had an outstanding season, posting 58 total tackles, four sacks, four passes defensed and two interceptions. He too made the All Pac-12 First Team and the AP’s Second Team All-American.
Two former Washington Husky defensive backs have signed representation contracts with the Wasserman Agency.
Cornerback Byron Murphy and safety Talyor Rapp will be represented by agents Doug Hendrickson & C.J. LaBoy as they prepare for their NFL football careers and this year’s draft
