    The cold is from a polar vortex due to climate change. Its because ice is melting in the arctic regions from global warming. We live in a finely tuned ecosystem... this isn't a hot/cold dial on your fucking thermostat. Im pretty sure Australia is in a 120+ degree heat wave right now. If this doesn't have you sold just wait for another season of wild fire smoke shit air this summer from lack of snow packs.

    We are coming into a grand solar minimum. It's going to get colder. We don't know shit about how our planets climate. HTH

    WThe Throbber was back east once during a polar vortex.

    The shrinkage was instantaneous. Have never experienced anything like it in the NW. Been to some pretty cold spots in WA, ID, MT - but holy fuck, that upper Midwest/Eastern cold is a whole different beast.

    Except your fires are a result of wet winters and springs that cause overgrowth and subsequent tinder that cause the big burns

    Relatively mild winters are actually better for fires come August and September.
