Couple of guys in there mid 50s arguing that since they were in the military they should never have to pay taxes because they “risked their lives” and saved the US from communism. (Not sure how, but OK!) Anywhoooo, a 30ish woman was having none of it. She said if people have to pay, everyone has to pay. (Of course that’s when I said no one should have to pay, but I digress and they ignored me). The guys started to kind of get pissed and got loud about it. She was calm about the whole thing and asked them if they signed up voluntarily and were paid? They said yes, she told them to be quiet and live with their choices. (I would have told them to fuck off and stop milking it). They didn’t really have a comeback other than “yeah, but still”. At least now I’m able to go back to drinking wiotghoiut to dumbfuck s yelling.
