The cut off for the child tax credit is a hell of a lot lower than $400k.

Using your standard Hondo you just lied.

2018 & 2019 Child Tax Credit Income Levels & Phaseout
Phaseouts, which are not indexed for inflation, will begin with a modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) of more than $400,000 for married taxpayers filing jointly and more than $200,000 for all other taxpayers.

Ok. So every married family that makes $400k or less. Are you dumb, ignorant, or just can't use Google?
Hondo, you're right and I'm wrong. I didn't realize that the new tax laws had made that change. Prior to this year the income cut off for the child tax credit for a married couple filing jointly was only $110,000.

Thanks Trump, I'll finally qualify for that fucking thing. Kind of puts the lie to your claim that the new tax bill only saved most individual filers a couple hundred bucks a year Hondo.

Some work harder than others. Some are smarter than others. But everyone benefits from living here. Everyone should get to pay for that privilege.

You have plenty of people who do not work and live entirely off the government.

What taxes do they pay? They might pay some sales taxes.

Gas tax. Sales tax. Property tax. Payroll taxes. Everyone but the homeless pays tax.

But you lost personal exemptions. We had this discussion at length before you got here. Taxable income goes up cause losing exemptions. Child tax credit increases.

There is no Federal sales tax. If they pay a gas tax it's to pay for the roads you were crowing about. If you don't work you don't pay any payroll taxes. And if you live in public housing you don't pay any property taxes.

    Care to try again dumbfuck?

There are plenty of people who aren't homeless living off the teat who pay next to nothing in Federal taxes. And even some of the people who have jobs when you add in the earned income tax credit, along with their welfare payments and the child credits are getting far more back from the government then the ever pay in.

Shocking. People who get money by forcing others to give it to them are in favor of it.

Also, most people are stupid, envious and ignorant, but that’s a different topic.

We should have a poll to see if people think they should be given a million dollars, no strings attached. I wonder what the results would be?

This would see the light of day and of somehow it made it into law, the Supreme Court would easily find it unconstitutional. Unless of course, if the reps get the White House and the senate and decide to add 4 more justices to the court.... But they wouldn’t do that...

I haven't done my taxes yet this year but I don't believe that I lost any of my previous exemptions.

    Poll options:

    b) you pay

I'm surprised you're surprised the majority of respondents picked 'you pay'

And you get offended when people call you simple minded.

But does he read for comprehension?
