US backed right-wing military coups against Latin American regimes we don’t like are back in vogue I see. Maduro is a corrupt authoritarian but there’s nothing US involvement would do to better the situation. It’s not a vital national security interest and therefore not worth our time and effort.

This is homegrown revolution led by a millennial

The streets are filled with people risking their lives to get rid of the morons who ruined their country

The morons are using guns to put them down

It's worth our diplomatic support which Trump has given

I stand with pumpy for freedom
I stand for idiots like hardly clothed standing with dictators and taking a bullet in the forehead from the oppressed.

Neocon Race spreadig his infinite knowledge on Venezuelan domestic politics.

You’re certain this is homegrown? The Trump admin met with Venezuelan military officers about overthrowing Maduro last year. It was in the news you may have missed it.

We have no idea how much domestic support these protestors really have compared to the regime. Either way throwing US support behind them in a country that doesn’t like this US only helps Maduro.

We’ve racked up a really strong track record of supporting opposition groups these last couple decades. They tell us they’re fighting for freedom so that means they must be, of course. Either way we need to DO SOMETHING. When it’s time to supply arms to them or send in US troops you’ll fall in line.
Well Red, we aren't doing anything other than recognizing the government like many other countries in our hemisphere

You go ahead and root for blood to flow in the streets as your masters try to hang on

Putin is with you. I heard that's a bad thing

I like freedom you like authoritarian states. We all know who wants to fall in line
    Bravo.

    Technically gifted ass kicking?

We need to free the oppressed people of Iraq from the dictator Saddam, or the dictator Gaddafi, or the dictator Assad. Do you people ever learn anything?

We aren't freeing anyone. We're just recognizing a different leadership. You of course are siding with socialist regime, Putin and Cuba.

I’m not picking a side I’m saying we shouldn’t do anything. Recognizing a different leadership is doing something and it’s stupid and not at all in our interest.

Recognizing a different leadership isn't "freeing" anyone but I understand the backtrack.

Why isn't it in our interests? This ought to be good.

Because we have enough problems of our own and don’t need to add Venezuela’s to that list. It doesn’t matter which side prevails there, neither is a threat to the US. At all.

How does recognizing a different leadership add to our problems? Venezuela is already a shit hole that shedding residents by the millions causing all kind of problems for it neighbors.

You're just upset because we're not sticking with the Socialists.

Well how about the fact that our diplomats are being expelled in 72 hours and they’re being ordered to stay by Pompeo because we don’t recognize the government that has the tactical ability to jail, torture, and kill them. That’s a bit of a problem of our own making.
