Who’ll be in Cooperstown on 7/21/2019? I went to Griffey’s induction and will be going to Edgar’s ceremony. If anyone needs any Cooperstown tips I can assist.
Let's be honest, there's a difference in the voter's mind between quietly alleged HGH use and confirmed HGH use. Also, as mentioned, Bonds didn't do himself any favors by being a complete dick to the media. Some advice: If you want to get voted into the Hall of Fame, it might be a good idea to have the people that vote not hate you.
I personally believe the MLB has been tainted since the late 70's when amphetamines were the craze.
Bonds, Clemens, Arod, McGwire, and Sosa should all get in. Once that happens we can move on and then start judging careers of future retirees with a different bar.
The Hall hasn't been sacred for a long time. Also, let's not forget how much damage the Veteran's Committee has done, by inducting "feel good, try hard story" guys, that don't have resumes even close to what should be Hall of Fame worthy.

Mariano Rivera - .579 avg, .652 ob%, 1.053 slg
Mike Mussina - .307 avg, .337 ob%, .627 slg
Roy Halladay - .444 avg, .474 ob%, .722 slg
It's clear that Bonds has HOF numbers, but he made his bed with the HGH and shitty-ass attitude towards the writers.
The HOF is kind of irrelevant until the Bonds/Clemens/McGwires get in though.
Still, Edgar should have been in a long time ago.
