I wonder where ND is putting their billboard?

Joke if you want, this isn’t good.

We should not be struggling this bad at this point.

    Fuck off.

We aren't struggling any more than we were before he committed. We were never really in on Baker.
The bigger problem is there are three elite offensive tackles in the Pac-12 footprint this year (Baker, Gentry, Rosengarten) and there's a good chance none of them end up at Pac-12 schools.

Obviously he will never play tackle, but at least Murao likes us.

    Until he commits somewhere else.
Certainly possible given that he goes to Mater Dei, but UW is definitely the school he seems to be involved with most on twitter and talked most highly of in his interviews.

Gentry will be doing an LDS mission so I get passing on him. As you said Rosengarten in the only tier 1 guys left. If we end up with Nelson and/or Persi that is pretty good imo. Throw in Memmelaar and Hatchett and that is about as elite of a group you are going to get West of the Mississippi.

Noah Nelson doesn't really seem to be interested in us at all anymore. Persi mentions us at least, but I think we're likely behind UCLA and Michigan.

We might end up with a solid OL class, but it's not looking good as far as true OT recruits.

Somebody who knows him recently posted on dawgman that he is almost certain to stay close to home because he has a single mom and younger siblings he helps take care of.
Murao has been gone since he said USC & UW were his co-leaders
Well hopefully he makes a similar decision as Byron Murphy did given what he had to leave at home. Easier to help with his family when he gets developed as a player.

Baker was their back up to Murao, Hatchett, Majors. I agree with you that we are struggling so fucking much that this doesn’t do anything but they kinda got in on him early before his rankings shot up.

He’s really soft but I love Tackles that are good basketball players. Gaard is the number 1 OT on the west coast no if and’s or asses about it. I love that Roger Rosengarten kid out of Colorado, which basically led to the “why are we recruiting Texas?” stuff because Majors was always going to Texas and we were just letting Cristobal get a head start on that guy.

Gimme Murao, Gaard, Geirean, and Rosengarten and I’ll need to call the same doctor as patients who’s Viagra doesn’t wear off after 6 hours.

Gaard is amazing and is definitely good enough to stick outside, but he's a swing kind of guy. I definitely think they want one of these stretch 6'7" dudes to mold though.

But yeah I didn't really mean we didn't LIKE Baker, it was more that he already ruled us out more than anything, so it would've been no difference had he committed 2 weeks ago.

If we nab Murao and Hatchett I'm happy with this class regardless of who our 4th guy is, but getting Rosengarten vs someone like Caadyn Stephen would put the cherry on top.

The only way get Murao is if they retain Helton because if they can him the new coach can sell "hope" and that is all recruits will want to here.
