Virginia is a fun state. Moved there in 1992, went shooting at a range outside DC. Asked if there were any restrictions in the range, and the guy behind the counter said "No armor piercing, no tracers." I said "But you can't even get those, can you?.......... Or am I still thinking like a Californian?" He smiled and said "You're still thinking like a Californian."
I think you'd have to throw up a bunch of red flags to get your guns confiscated. My dad (Hillsboro OR) had a problem with a guy in his neighborhood who was obviously a danger to his community, and it took too fucking long for the courts to come in and take away the guy's gun. Dad was diagnosed with PTSD because for a couple years he had to live in fear that his crazy neighbor was going to shoot him.
If passed. Guns can be confiscated even if the owner is not charged with any crime.
Gotta love conservatives who agree with dealing with mental health. But don't want to actually take guns away from those who are mentally unhealthy.
I doubt you bothered to read the article. If you did, you would have seen the obvious overreach of the Bill.
Will there suddenly be Gun grab squads set up if the Bill becomes law? No. However the bill plays loose and fast with not only the 2nd amendment but a few others as well.

I only read the headline and your commentary. But I'm sure gun grab squads are like death panels. Remember those?

Hondo has well-documented due process issues
The bill won't pass and survive lawsuits if there is no due process.
