The "Historic" new Congress

Watching a little bit of the MSM the last couple days I keep hearing them talking about all of the "history" that being made with this new Congress. Only the second time a woman has been Speaker of the House. Historic!!!

First female Muslims. Historic!!! First female native Americans (which should be news to Liz Warren) Historic!!!

But I'm wondering why they really didn't report on the truly historic moment when the Rats in Minn elected their first Muslim women who married their own brother. Now that's fucking historic!!!!

I wonder if our unbiased press would be equally uninterested if a newly elected Conservative member Congress had married their own brother.

Something tells me that there would be a little more made out of the issue and that it would be fodder for late night comics. Why I believe the press would even go so far as to ask other members of their party if they too supported marriage between siblings. There would be an attempt to smear the entire party with this information.
